My T & HostBox Support
This page provides guidance and support links for both the My T data-viewer app and the HostBox VPS deployment app.
Before you begin
- Set up TeslaMate with a compatible API, or use the separate HostBox iOS deployment tool to install My T Server on your VPS.
- Use HTTPS, a VPN, Tailscale, Cloudflare Access, or another protected network path whenever possible.
- If a connection fails, check the API URL, authentication type, token, Cloudflare Access credentials, and reverse-proxy configuration.
HostBox deployment
HostBox is now available on the App Store. Download HostBox, or visit the HostBox product page for the launch video, features, and deployment guidance. HostBox is a separate app and is not an embedded My T feature.
Common questions
- My T does not provide a Tesla account login.
- My T does not request or store Tesla account credentials.
- Vehicle data comes from the service you configure; original TeslaMate data remains on your own server and database.

Review the setup and compatibility guidance in the public My T documentation. For ordinary support, open a GitHub support request. Report security issues through the private GitHub security form. Never post credentials, precise vehicle locations, a VIN, or a private server address publicly.
